Employability Day is the UK’s largest celebration for organisations supporting local people to gain, sustain and progress in work. Coordinated by the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA), hundreds of businesses, charities and other bodies will throw open their doors to raise awareness about how they support local people.
Despite record employment, there are still significant disparities between groups in terms of employment rate, pay and career progression.
NLET Open Day
On the 30th June 2023 NLET, along with hundreds of employers and training providers, opened its doors to raise awareness about how we support our community for ‘Employability Day’ the UKs largest celebration coordinated by the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA)
We welcomed local people and members of public to come and find out about how NLET works to support people into employment, particularly in Health & Social Care. This includes helping people who are in-work to access support for sustaining their jobs. We hosted a range of activities from free CV support to interactive workshops, and information sessions on the day.
UK Employability Day is a day of recognition for those working tirelessly to support local people into employment. Every day, NLET and thousands of organisations across the country help to transform the lives of individuals and their communities.
