West London Community Partnership

The West London Community Partnership (WLCP) is a collaboration of community groups who work across the seven West London Alliance Boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Ealing and Hammersmith/Fulham.  WCLP members have come together to explore the possibilities and advantages of joint-working in order to overcome economic and social challenges. The WLCP consists of member organisations, all of whom are charities, who share the common theme of providing services that meet the needs of West London communities, particularly the needs of disadvantaged people.  These services include for example skills development, training, information advice & guidance (IAG), employment related support services and pastoral support. WLCP members recognise the need to work in partnership in order to broaden and extend their services across west London especially in view of the impact of Covid-19.  By working in collaboration, WLCP members will be able to pool resources, knowledge and experience.  Acting as the lead partner, New London Educational Trust will support WLCP members to develop the capacity of their services which will further strengthen the partnership’s aims. By combining each member’s strengths, the WLCP aims source and apply for funding in a number of key areas including:

  • Community engagement.
  • Education, skills and training.
  • Young people, especially those who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
  • Families and lone parents.
  • Offenders and ex-offenders.
  • Unemployed people and economically inactive.
  • Disabled people and people with work limiting health conditions.
  • BAME communities.
  • Low skilled/low paid employed people.

The West London Community Partnership is in the process of developing its offer to funders.  We are keen to broaden the reach of the network and welcome other members who share our vision of where everyone has the opportunity to grow, achieve and improve their life chances through social and economic regeneration, education, training and community based activities.
